Noolpaati's First Corporate Order

When we started Nool Paati, the dream was simple: teach crochet, one small batch at a time. So when an email landed asking whether we could make a bulk order of handmade earbud pouches as thank-you gifts for a company's team, we read it twice to be sure.

Then we said yes — and reached for our biggest basket of yarn.

The brief

The client wanted something personal. Not another branded mug or diary, but a small gift that says someone made this for you. Together we settled on mini pouches — the perfect size for earbuds, coins, or lip balm — in a set of soft pastel shades: blush pink, buttery yellow, mint green, and cornflower blue.

Each pouch is worked in tight single crochet so it holds its shape, with a flap that closes over a little pearl button.

Stitching at "factory" scale

One pouch is a joy. Dozens of identical pouches are a lesson in discipline! We learnt to:

• Lock the pattern first. We finalised one master pouch and measured everything — rows, stitch counts, button placement — before starting the batch.
• Batch the steps. All the bodies first, then all the flaps, then buttons and weaving in ends. It kept the tension (and our sanity) consistent.
• Check as we go. Every pouch was compared against the master before it went into the "done" basket.

The little details

Each pouch was packed with a handwritten-style thank-you card featuring our Paati, so every team member unwrapped a tiny piece of our studio. Seeing all of them lined up and packed was the proudest moment this studio has had yet.

What this means for us
